Job Purpose

We are looking for a Data Engineer to develop and maintain data infrastructure that supports our loss adjusting operations. This role involves optimising data pipelines, integrating analytics, and ensuring data accuracy to drive better claims assessment, fraud detection, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Architecture – Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and storage solutions.

• Claims Data Processing – Improve data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) to enhance claims insights.

• Fraud Detection & Risk Analysis – Develop data-driven models to identify fraud and risk patterns.

• Collaboration & Integration – Work with loss adjusters, underwriters, and analysts to streamline data usage.

• Technology & Automation – Apply AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to improve claims processing.

• Regulatory Compliance – Ensure data governance and compliance with industry regulations.
   

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

✔ Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Essential)
✔ Certifications in Big Data, Cloud Computing, or AI/Machine Learning (Advantageous)

Experience:

✔ 3+ years in data engineering, analytics, or software development in:

• Insurance | Risk Management | Financial Services | Loss Adjusting
  ✔ Strong skills in SQL, Python, ETL processes, and cloud platforms
   

Additional Information
